Located in the Plaza de la Virgen, Valencia, Spain, the ornate 13th century gothic style cathedral, (simply called Catedral de Valencia), is well worth a look…
especially if you are interested in seeing the Holy Grail – the goblet out of which Jesus purportedly drank at the Last Supper.
The Chapel of the Holy Grail is the final stop of the self-guided audio tour (they love to save the best till last on these things) although there was a lot to see before then. But I will let the photos speak for themselves…
To complete the experience, for a small extra fee, climb the 207 stairs of the 58m high bell tower (or Torre del Micalet) for magnificent panoramas of this large city, which will mean more to you, if, like us, you have already spent time meandering around exploring this lovely city.

Beautiful photos of the cathedral! I didn’t know they claimed to have the actual grail. How fun. I just finished a novel about the grail called Labyrinth (by Kate Mosse) set in 13th century France. Good story.
