Au revoir Asia

We spent our last evening in Asia on a Hong Kong tour:

a sunset cruise on Victoria Harbour (pity we were too early for the “Symphony of Lights” – every night at 8pm – when all the skyscrapers light up and beams flash in time to music… chalk that one up for next time!)

but the cruise was a perfect opportunity for taking some fabulous photos

amazed by the never-ending rows of skyscrapers

followed by an enjoyable dinner at Jumbo – a huge floating restaurant in Aberdeen Harbour

in palace-like surroundings, with even a chance to sit in the Emperor’s chair!

finishing the tour at a lookout over the city.

A pretty full-on 5 1/2 hours and we were glad that we were the first to be dropped off at our hotel.

As much as we loved Hong Kong,

we were very excited to be jetting off the next day to our home in France for a massive 10 months stay!

Lovely pictures of HK! I’ve never been there to do any sightseeing, the closest I’ve done is to catch a connecting flight to Manila. I hope one day to explore HK.
