Whipping something up

Some basic ingredients are just different here in France. Cream for instance…

Ok, so you expect Crème Fraîche to have that sour taste, but how come 2 of the Crème Entières pictured here (Full Cream) also have that sourness, but the 3rd one (in the bottle) does not? Confusing.

After trial and error, the closest in taste to Australian cream that we have found is the Crème Fleurette de Normandie – with the “ideale en Chantilly” sticker, denoting it is suitable for whipping which is an added bonus.

Now Tony can have another go at making scones.
