Full Pantry

We are so excited to have our pantry all finished. We both love cooking (Tony especially) so completing our kitchen was a priority. Now that our little walk in pantry is done we feel all settled in, having unpacked all the kitchen items we shipped over and sorted duplicates between our kitchen and the guest kitchen downstairs, both are fully operational.

For such a small space it certainly took a lot of work and no wonder we left it unfinished last trip:  sanded and varnished the floor; built the doorframe and architrave; attached the skirting board (already stained and painted last year); filled the skirting joints; hung the door; stained and varnished the frame; painted the door; fitted the doorhandle and latch; secured the shelving unit; put up spice shelves; stocked the shelves; done!

I must get those Easter Eggs I made out of the freezer.
